Refund policy

In line with the UK Distance Selling Regulations set out for all online retailers, you can cancel the purchase of goods within the “cooling off period” of seven working days, beginning on the day after you/ your recipient receive the goods.

Please contact us on support@brownpaperpackages.co.uk and
then send the goods back to us to Brown Paper Packages, April Cottage, Maidnehead Road, Cookham, SL6 9DF at your own cost (unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is damaged) as soon as possible once you let us know you are returning it.

We do not accept liability for returned packages damaged during transit back to us. It is your responsibility to wrap products adequately to prevent damage.

We reserve the right to make a charge not exceeding our direct costs of recovering the goods if you do not return the goods or return them at our expense.

Once you have notified us that you wish to cancel the contract, any sum debited to us will be refunded to you as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your cancellation.

You will not have any right to cancel a purchase for the supply of any of the following goods:

  • For the supply of goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised or which by reason of their nature cannot be returned or are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.
  • For the supply of magazines.

Events beyond our reasonable control.

We will not be responsible to you for any delay or failure to comply with our obligations under these Terms and onditions if the delay or failure arises from any cause beyond our reasonable control.

Alterations to this Website and Terms and Conditions.

We reserve the right at any time to make changes to this Website, these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and such other policies as we may notify you of. You will be subject to the policies and terms and conditions in force at the time you use the Website or order items from the Website.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts, as do we. However, if you are a resident in Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are a resident in Scotland you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.
