1. We love to showcase UK brands, why did you launch your business?
I have always been vocal about how disappointing fruit teas taste. I had tried fresh infusions on my travels, from a soul-warming honey, lemon and ginger tea served in the cafés of Calcutta to a mighty mint tea in the markets of Morocco. Here in the UK there was simply no alternative to the bland, beige and boring dried fruit teabag. When my wife asked if we could recreate these amazing flavours and natural goodness in our kitchen, the penny dropped – and so TEA REX’s Fresh infusions were born!
2. Tell us a bit more about your brand?
In a beige, boring and bland fruit tea category TEA REX is a colourful challenger brand here to add real flavour and fun. TEA REX by name, infusions from nature, our brand is here to make people smile from surprisingly good flavours to running around in 8ft Inflatable dinosaur suits! We are on a mission to make every cup of fruit tea RAWR with flavour!
3. What gives your customers the feel-good factor?
Everything in life tastes best when fresh, both for flavour and natural goodness. When was the last time you had powered milk or dehydrated egg? So why dried tea?! We chop and grate, crush and mash fresh fruits and roots, to create feel good infusions that really do taste as good as it smells!
4. Tell us about your eco credentials?
TEA REX’s 100% recyclable tubes are made from sugarcane, not fossil fuels. Our tubes don't release harmful Co2, and they capture carbon from a renewable raw material that can be replanted. Brew every cup with our reusable infuser, cafetière or tea strainer for a sustainable infusion. Happy days!

6. Finally, we love to promote doing something to give you a life lift, what’s your life-lift tip?
We have 2 things we love
- Drink a cup of lemon and turmeric TEA Rex 20 minute before anything else… it naturally kickstarts your day
